Can we see aurora from the camp?
Yes, you can see the northern lights just outside your door during the night if the conditions are right. You don´t need to walk anywhere. If the sky is clear and there are solar activity, this is the perfect place north of Kiruna and there are no artificial lights.
Are the activities and the food included in the price?
Yes, all activities and meals are included in the price. We have no additional fee´s.
How do we pay? Can we pay with credit card?
We do the payment when we meet. We only accept cash since the internet connection can be bad sometimes.
Can we pay in Euros?
We do the payment in Swedish SEK. You can exchange money at the airports or take out Swedish SEK at any ATM in Sweden.
Is there a vegetarian option?
Yes, just let us know before and we will prepare a vegetarian option for you, lunch, dinner and breakfast.
Is there a vegan option?
If you need a vegan option we recommend you to bring your own food. You can borrow our kitchen as well.
I am gluten allergic, do you have an option?
Our food is glutenfree except the bread, please bring your own bread for lunch and dinner.
Can we take a shower at the camp?
It is possible to take a nice simple shower in the fireheated sauna in the evening.
Will we sleep outside?
No. We have cabins with bunk beds and sleeping bags.
How many people live in a cabin?
Up to 12 people share the same cabin.
Are the cabins warm?
The cabins are well isolated and warm, heated by stoves with fire. From time to time it needs to be wood added in the fire.

Can we charge cameras and phones at the camp?
The electricity at the camp is very limitied. It comes from solar panels and a generator. We recommend you to bring a power bank. It is possible to charge your things for a few hours during the tour.
Is their any phone reception/ phone signal at the camp?
Yes, if you have a Swedish simcard. Telia and Halebop has 4G reception at the camp.
Can we borrow clothes from you?
You can borrow winter shoes and snow pants from us.
How shall we dress for the cold?
No need to buy expensive super thick, high quality, winter clothes for maybe just one trip (if you dont want to of course).
The best way to dress in cold weather is to have many layers. Many layers of shirts, trousers and socks. A warm hat and a scarf will keep 30% of your body temperature from leaving you. Warm gloves is also important.
How old can you be to join the tour?
Normally we believe people between 10 years old and 70 years old (depending on the personal condition) can do this tour.
You can pretty much choose which level you like to put the physical exercises on. If you hesitate, give us an email and we can help you figure it out.
What shall we bring for the tour?
Bring warm clothes, warm gloves, hat, scarf, winterjacket, extra pair of socks.
A towel for sauna.
Flashlight or headlamp is useful.
Powerbank is useful.
There is no lunch the last day since we have notice people like to use their time for activities until last minute. Some snacks can be nice to bring instead.
Shall I bring my own sleeping bag?
There are sleeping bags at the camp to borrow. If you prefer your own you can bring it along. An other alternative is to bring a sheet/traveler sheet to put inside our sleeping bags.
Can we store some of our luggage somewhere, that we don´t need for the tour?
Yes, we have a storage room at the starting point of the tour where you can leave the luggage that you don't need. Then you get it back after the tour.
Is it possible to be back for the night train south at 18:20?
Absolutely, we will be back in Kiruna about 15:00.
Is it possible to be back for the train to Abisko 14:58?
Yes, please let us know and we will make sure you get back in time for your departure.
Is it possible to be dropped off at the Ice Hotel after the tour?
Yes, we can drop you off at Ice Hotel and then you can either take the bus or a taxi back to Kiruna C.
Is it possible to be dropped of at the airport after the tour?
Yes, no problem. Kiruna airport is very small with only one gate. A good thing to know is that you don´t need to be there more than one hour before your departure.
